LOVE your products , great learning tool !!!

I have high regards for your product and customer service, Ive bought 4 different apps over the past year or two and Linear Algebra Made Easy being the 5th.

Overall I love your products , they are a great learning tool to me.

I am currently enrolled in an electrical engineering technology program.

A lot of the courses use higher level math and physics; however most classes don’t use a text book and if it does the material is different from what the teacher is showing us.

I have always been a self learner to me this translates to doing as many different problems as I can, in this aspect these apps help me in numerous ways.

-Double checking my answers

-Seeing a different method to solving a problem

-Formula reference opposed to multiple pieces of paper

-Help when I get stuck

-Alternative solution to the "5000 problems solved in ……" types of books

Exceptional level of customer support

In July 2016 I purchased three apps: Calculus Made Easy; Physics Made Easy
and Chemistry Made Easy. These were installed on a ti89 calculator used by
my granddaughter who is a university freshman. She has reported that the
apps have been very helpful and easy to use.

I was very impressed by the level of support that Mike provided me. His responses
were timely; his suggestions and guidance were clear and included step by
step procedures.

This is an exceptional level of customer support and I
will continue to purchase "Made Easy" products as my granddaughter continues
her education.

How do I do Implicit Differentiation ? And Tangent Lines?

Dear Joe

1) To do Implicit Differentiation , go to 3 Derivatives , then go to Implicit Differentation.
Now enter your equation : important is to use * whenever multiplying x and y. So write 3*x*y instead of 3xy .

Altogether: x^2 + 3*x*y +y^2 = 11 and below find its derivative.

2) To find a Tangent Line , go to Differentiation (option 3) , next select
Evaluate Derivatives; Tangent- & Normalline Enter the equation
e^(-x^2)

and the x value
x=5

And the Tangent Line will show below.

Thats all ūüėČ

Best
Mike

I am taking survey of calculus and having difficulty solving problems like the following:

Is there any way you can show me how to do these problems using your program????
