You will have to type in sin(x)^2 and cos(x)^3 instead, where ^ is the exponentiation symbol.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typing in  sin^2(x) matches the given image\/problem but the Ti-Nspire cannot digest this sequence of characters. It thinks that a variable called sin needs to be squared and multiplied by (x) at the end. That&#8217;s very different from the actual problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is what you need to type in to solve above problem: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">integral(6*sin(x)^2*cos(x)^3,x) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voila!    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Expert tip : Any trig expression is expressed in terms of sin(x) and cos(x) using the Ti-Nspire CX .
