<p>The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus can easily be computed using the TiNspire CX. This is the Theorem:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="443" height="100" src="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1583" srcset="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image.png 443w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-300x68.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 443px) 85vw, 443px" /></figure>

<p></p>

<p>Below are two AP Calculus problems that we will solve using the TiNspire CX. The first one requires the use of the above Theorem by solving for F(b) : </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="1024" height="128" src="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1-1024x128.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1584" srcset="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1-1024x128.png 1024w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1-300x38.png 300w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1-768x96.png 768w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1-1536x193.png 1536w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1-1200x151.png 1200w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-1.png 1586w" sizes="(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px" /></figure>

<p>Using Calculus Made Easy at https://www.tinspireapps.com/?a=CME we simply type in the problem as shown below </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="678" height="510" src="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-2.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1585" srcset="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-2.png 678w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-2-300x226.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px" /></figure>

<p>to arrive at the correct answer. </p>

<p>The 2. problem below requires us solving for F(a) , so we select option M in the Calculus Made Easy APP : </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="678" height="510" src="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-3.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1586" srcset="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-3.png 678w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-3-300x226.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px" /></figure>

<p></p>

<p>The problem is stated as: </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="1024" height="175" src="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-5-1024x175.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1588" srcset="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-5-1024x175.png 1024w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-5-300x51.png 300w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-5-768x131.png 768w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-5.png 1130w" sizes="(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px" /></figure>

<p>we again enter the information as shown below: </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" width="678" height="510" src="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-4.png" alt="" class="wp-image-1587" srcset="https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-4.png 678w, https://tinspireapps.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/image-4-300x226.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px" /></figure>

<p></p>

<p>Voila! That was fun. </p>
