Once you have your handy TiNspire CX available, launch the Trigonometry Made Easy app and  select menu option 6 1 : Find Amplitude, Phase, Shifts given Function as shown below:

Now, all you is enter the given trig function and immediately all shifts and stretches show below. That simple.

Here is another example involving a cosine function :

This latter function is neither shifted vertically nor horizontally.
